Frequently Asked Questions / More Detail
How much is Turf Delivery?
We charge a flat fee, no matter how much turf you order.
Delivery costs depend on how far from the Camden area you live. Ask us for an estimate, or you can put a turf order in your cart, and enter your address to find out how much it would cost.
Do I need to be home at the time of delivery?
Nope! But please ensure we’ve got access to your site and you can tell us where you want the turf left.
Do you deliver in all weather?
If there has been heavy rainfall the night before your delivery, we may not be able to harvest the turf that morning.
We will advise if this is the situation to reschedule the delivery.

Ordering
Before you order, be sure to follow our guide to soil preparation and measuring up. If you follow these instructions, you should order the right quantity of turf.
Place your grass order online or by phone with Cobbitty Lawn Turf (02 4651 0000). Don’t forget to order fertiliser and Sir Launcher for the best results.
We deliver 6 days a week. If you are local to Sydney, we can even get turf to you the next day from our farm in Cobbitty near Camden. All turf is delivered fresh, in top-notch condition.
Please bear in mind that the more notice you can give us, the more likely it is that we will get your turf to you exactly when you want it, rather than when we can get it to you.

Delivery
Your turf will be delivered via a truck that carries a forklift. We use the forklift to bring the turf rolls from the truck to the right place on your site.
Please make sure that you have cleared an area to receive the turf and that access is unfettered. It’s best if this is in the shade, especially if you aren’t going to lay the turf rolls right away, or if it’s going to be a hot day.
Advise us ahead of time if there is likely to be any challenges with parking or access to your site so we can plan ahead.
